GayCode is coming to a laptop, tablet, and smartphone near you!
A little over a year ago I created a vlog on my YouTube channel about how MTV should have a show called GayCode, alongside their hits GirlCode and GuyCode. After that video was posted people started messaging me to express their interest in watching the show… So I made it.
YouTube is a platform full of web series, vloggers, and even movies. There aren’t a lot of LGBTQ-based TV shows so I figured why not create one myself? Eventually all of that outside interest encouraged me to make GayCode a reality. I knew it would be hard to recreate the look of show, get a cast together, and film it all, but I was determined to do it. Once I gathered the (most awesome) group of people who wanted to be a part of it, everything started to come together. I edited a bunch of backgrounds similar to those from the original shows, developed topics, and assembled equipment to film. All the months of hard work has paid off and the first episode of GayCode is finally here!
As of right now GayCode consists of all women: lesbian, bisexual, and heterosexual. My goal is to gather individuals of all genders and sexualities to display their unique and different p.o.v.’s. I hope to one day expand the show and exhibit a voice for everyone in the LGBTQ community to look up to. GayCode is full of comedy, real life experiences, advice, and some of the coolest people I know. I really hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!
