Dattch Pick: PROWL Kickstarter

PROWL is one our favourite independent magazines to come out of the past year and it’s gorgeous predator-in-chief, Lisa Luxx, is a force of nature.  If you aren’t familiar with PROWL, they’re trying to bring art to life again, taking things offline and back into reality with their print magazine and regular events. To keep PROWL alive for you and the artists that are part of this collective experience, there’s a Kickstarter project that you can contribute to right now.
“PROWL is a tight collective but always encourages people to get involved which is why we throw regular happenings. Events where we have live music, poetry, go-go dancing, DJ’s and visual art. An opportunity to create an offline network in a place where you can kick off your shoes. PROWL is about tearing down the fourth wall of publication and blurring the lines between readers and writers. It’s about real–life interaction; nurturing relationships and pushing collaborations.”

If you’re tired of ‘women’s magazines’ that constantly cater to straight women that are just filled with fashion tips and columns about how to please your man (!), PROWL is a uncensored experience, washing away the nonsense of mainstream publications and replacing it with psychedelic artwork, poetry, interviews and more.
If this sounds right up your street, check out this Kickstarter project to keep PROWL alive.
