Dattch Picks: Spirit Of Womanhood

Mother’s Day is this coming Sunday and if you haven’t planned anything spesh for your mum yet, why not take her on a trip out to the South Bank to see a new exhibition called Spirit of Womanhood. You can get your mum flowers and choccies any day but this show runs until 6th April at the iconic OXO tower, so it’s something a bit more unique you can do with her.
The exhibition is curated by the Women’s Interfaith Network whose Co-Founder and Chairperson, Lady Gilda Levy, describes the collection as marking an “…exciting year for the Women’s Interfaith Network, and the celebratory exhibition is a fitting tribute to a decade of work promoting dialogue and combating prejudice amongst women on an international scale.”

The show’s ambassador is artist Tracy Emmin CBE who said of the show, “The exhibition will provide a unique platform for women artists tackling issues of gender and faith, and I am pleased to lend my support to WIN’s positive work.”
Once you’ve taken in the exhibition, take a stroll with your mum down the river and take for a nice lunch somewhere – the show is free so you can splurge on lunch instead!
