The success of a date can often hang entirely on where you take your lady. Do you go for quiet and intimate or exciting and wild? Somewhere you can be adventurous or low-key where you can talk about your childhood pets?
Decisions, decisions. Well, we’re going to give you a helping hand and provide you with some Top 5 date ideas to inspire you all to have great dates, first or otherwise. We’ve always got our eye out for a cool place for a date but if you spot one you’d like to recommend, send it in to heya @ dattch.com
This week sees the beginning of October, so we’re planning our Autumnal activities and Halloween costumes.
Legoland fireworks – Heroes wanted to enjoy this year’s firework spectacular atLegoland Windsor. With a superhero theme, of course, you can watch the sky light up on the 26, 27 October and 1, 2 November. Enjoy famous movie soundtracks as the DC superhero extravaganza takes over the skies, making you feel just like a little kid again. Either your girlfriend will appreciate your kooky enjoyment of superheroes, will quietly put up with it or will race you to the last Batman costume in the fancy dress shop.
Fright Nights At Thorpe Park – If you manage to book your ticket today then you’ll be able to scream your head off for less at Thorpe Park this Autumn. “Join a deranged film director as he takes over THORPE PARK to bring some of your favourite horror movies to life in the UK’s premier Halloween event.” So bring your gloves, scarves, coats and a few pairs of extra pants. Although if you’re tough enough to take the terror, it’s a great way to get your girl to leap into your arms.
London Eye – Who can resist a Halloween takeover of a beloved tourist attraction? We certainly can’t as we’ll be heading down to the Southbank this Autumn to get our witch on at the London Eye. Take a niece or nephew and join in the fun, showing your date how great you are with kids and that maybe you are the marrying kind after all.
The Harry Potter Studio Tour’s Ghostly Goings-On – What better way to get into the spooky spirit for Halloween than going to Hogwarts, the home of magic, at the Harry Potter Studio Tour? Even if you’ve already been to the studio, go again because the Halloween takeover will reduce you to a first-year Hufflepuff, giggling and squealing over the cool decorations, live demonstrations and ominous threat of Death Eaters roaming Diagon Alley.
If you haven’t already made it to the Harry Potter tour or aren’t really a big fan of the books or films, then, we don’t really know how to talk to you.
London Cocktail Week – Find yourself a tasty treat at the London Cocktail Week where you can enjoy tasting sessions, parties, masterclasses and general inebriation. “This year, the festival’s events will again be held in the historic and beautiful Seven Dials in the heart of the West End – so come and explore our wealth of pop-up bars and soak up the street party atmosphere.”
Take your girl out on the town and use this event as a legit excuse to get tanked. After all, you’re realllly into the art of cocktail making, right?
