This week – Rooftop bars
Aqua Nueva – A mix of spanish tapas and japanese cuisine, Aqua Nueva on Regent Street combines exotic flavours and beautiful city skylines. Main meals top out at around £29 but it’ll be worth it.
Vista Bar (Trafalgar Hotel) – The fabulous views at the Vista bar are best enjoyed in the Summer, although if you bring a brolly, you might be able to risk it for a biscuit in Autumn. Treat you and your girl to a glass of bubbly and some classic London views.
The Stage Door – It’s called the Stage Door for a good reason as it’s just around the back of The Old Vic, making it the perfect spot for some pre and post theatre drinks. A nice, local community has sprung up around this pub so you’ll enjoy a bit more of a relaxed atmosphere than the city pubs and bars.
Coq D’Argent – Head to No.1 Poultry to get your swank on with views of St. Paul’s at Coq D’Argent. Swig champagne with the city folk and enjoy the last of the semi-decent weather and remember, if it gets chilly and you’ve brought a spare pair of gloves for your girl, she’ll surely want to warm you up 😉
Golden Bee – Arguably a younger, cooler choice; Golden Bee is the perfect place to enjoy the last few shreds of sunshine. Their drinks menu is surprisingly reasonable, making it almost impossible to not pick one, or four, of their delicious Martinis and enjoy your night by their roaring fire pit.
