Transforming the way we connect

Hey there, you gorgeous trans angels (and devils, why not?) 💗 Have you found yourself surrounded by a sea of cisgender people? Well, it’s time to break out of the fish bowl! At HER, you can finally be your authentic self.

No more hiding, no more pretending, this is the place where you belong. Our app is a safe space to chat with other transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals.

Kind of like a virtual pride parade, you can chat with fellow trans individuals, attend the coolest online events, and join our in-app communities for interests that range from activism and body positivity to travel and tv-shows!

You can even create your own posts to share your thoughts, opinions, and unique experiences, as well as match with a potential soulmate, or DM your new friends to gush about them ☕

Trans Chat FAQ

How does HER help protect trans users?

As part of the LGBTQA+ gang, we have to stick together like honey in a pot, and for us, that means maintaining a safe environment for all users, including our trans babes. At HER, the only wicked we know are the tarot girlies and defying gravity witches, our app it’s no place for exclusionary agendas.

Our fabulous team of moderators keeps an eye on every community to make sure rules are followed and rights are respected. One of the perks of being an HER user is that you can report any suspicious profile that crosses your path, and we’ll take care of the rest. 😉

For example, if you see a profile with no pictures or little-to-no information, that’s a lurker, and we like to keep them out for the safety of our community. No meanies, no bullies, no fakes, no chasers, and absolutely no transphobes.

It is truly important for us that you feel comfortable, so we hope to see you join us and enjoy the wonderful space we’ve built together.

Are all in-app communities LGBTQA+ oriented?

Well, yes and no. Every member is part of the so-called alphabet mafia, but since at HER we celebrate diversity and inclusion, there are plenty of communities for all interests. We want our people to connect not only for their differences with the rest of the world but for the quirks and talents they have in common with each other too.

Want to talk about the latest french flick you watched? Check out ‘Movies & TV Shows’. How about comparing birth charts and finding other Leo moons? Then head straight up (or gay up) to ‘Astrology, Horoscopes & Tarot’. We can’t forget what you’re here for:  ‘Trans Women’, ‘Trans Men’, and ‘Nonbinary Community’ are waiting for you to join!

And just like that, to quote our beloved Carrie, you can find your new squad within our 35+ amazing forums.

I only recently came out as trans, so I’m learning how to interact with other members of the community. Will joining HER help?

Abso-freaking-lutely! From the baby queers to the most seasoned of us, everyone is welcome to join and interact with others.

Remember, darling, there is no wrong way to be gay, so navigate your gender identity and sexuality comfortably and most important of all, unapologetically.

If you need a little push or guidance, you can find our in-app community called ‘Coming Out Advice & Conversation’, where there are no silly questions, and all answers are welcome.

Finding a safe haven with people that go through the same tra(ns)vesies you do will certainly help you building-up your identity with confidence and get ready for the world to know you as you truly are.

How can I make friends once I join?

Making friends in our app is a breeze. The easiest way is to post in your community of choice and start a conversation with the other members, and you can even DM them!

Simply find someone whose profile catches your eye and add them, just like any other social media platform, but gayer.

You can also attend our virtual events and interact with other members in a more social setting.

Don’t be shy, put yourself out there and start chatting! You’ll be surprised at how quickly you’ll make new connections.
