Anti-Gay Spokesman's Wife Leaves Him For A Woman

Aug 14, 2014

If you’ve ever wondered what could drive someone to the radical conclusion that gay people can destroy heterosexual marriage, look no further than the marriage of Texas attorney, president of the anti-gay group Texas Values and all-around jackass, Jonathan Saenz.
Lonestarq.com have revealed that court records show that Saenz’s wife, Corrine, was actually in a big lesssssbian relationship with a woman at the time they filed for divorce in August 2011.  Soon after this that Saenz became one of the more vocal anti-gay leaders.  Clearly he took the news well.  The woman Corrine was having a relationship with was named in the documents as Ercimin Paredes, whether the two are still together, no one seems sure.
It’s fairly obvious that this experience is what fuelled Saenz’s peculiar tirades regarding gay marriage and how it’s going to lead to people marrying their stepchildren.
While the world laughs at Saenz’s situation and he presumably seethes with rage and embarrassment, let’s acknowledge that most likely he arrived at his viewpoint on gay marriage through pain and revenge, which is almost understandable. Almost.
But no matter how understanding we may be towards this angry little man, just remember that Saenz is just another face in the Republican lineup of anti-gay talking heads, just waiting to get five minutes of air time on radio or TV to spout their nonsense.  See Michele Bachmann for a shining example of such stupidity, best left ignored.
