The masc shortage crisis has been affecting the sapphic community for years. But in the past few months, we’ve started to see things really spiral. 

HER’s Content Manager is out here posting that she would “sail across the ocean for a curly-haired masc with nothing but a water bottle and a dream” on her LinkedIn. My best friend of over fifteen years is commenting, “Who want me???” on different masc content creator’s videos. We’ve seen the TikToks, the reels, the Reddit forums, your comments… and we couldn’t bear to sit in silence any longer. 

We knew it was time to act. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Masc Shortage Relief Act.

What is the Masc Shortage Relief Act?

The Masc Shortage Relief Act aims to restore peace within the sapphic community once and for all. 

As part of the initiative, we’re giving away 1,000 free, lifetime subscriptions to mascs who join HER. And we won’t stop until each and every one of them has been allocated. 

And we’re not stopping there. As of today, our most popular premium feature — the ability to filter your HER feed based on pins — is now free. Yup, for everyone. Think of it as our Valentine’s Day gift to you!
