Dattch Top 5 Dates: Last Hurrah

Dec 16, 2013

Usually we’d say, “Here’s a cool place to take a date.” We’re mixing it up this week because let’s face it, Christmas is a great time to go out, have a drink, find a girl, have a few more drinks, grab some mistletoe and go nuts. But this week is also your last chance to have some fun before you have to travel to go and see your family where you’ll have to make awkward small talk with your relatives.
This week: Christmas time, mistletoe and wine. And more wine. Also cocktails.

RubyTuesdays Facebook

Ruby Tuesdays – A staple of the London girl scene, Ruby Tuesday’s has got it’s tinsel out for tomorrow. Blow off some steam in Central before you have to go home to see the family and pretend that you didn’t go out and get obliterated at a girl bar.

WigWam Facebook

WigWamBam – Up on the roof of the Queen of Hoxton, you’ll find great food, good music and a bloody big wigwam.  Find a hottie and hit on her over a glass of hot cider. It’s actually closed for private functions from 16th-19 but afterwards you can go and make it a treat.

Candy Bar Facebook

Candy Bar – Tonight’s Christmas karaoke sesh is the last one at Candy Bar before the 25th and is your chance to get drunk and belt out All I Want For Christmas at the top of your lungs. Plus, you’ll get a free shot when you sing, although we’re pretty sure most people will need a shot before they go on stage.

Sink The Pink Facebook

Santamental – From Sink The Pink, Santamental will be a wild, glitterbomb of a Christmas party. Drag Queens, a real log fire (seems like a health and safety issue but whatever) and Prosecco on tap – what else do you need?

Smokey Tails Facebook

Night Tales – In an underground car park in Daltston (obvs), the team that brought you Rooftop Park now bring food from Smokey Tails BBQ and Patty & Bun with frozen cocktails to liven up your Christmas. There’s also great live music so every Thursday to Sunday, give this a try, you won’t regret it.
