I do not know what I am doing wrong! I continue to meet women who just want to finesse me! I was just talking to this female, who was still living with her supposed ex-girlfriend, but she was still acting like they were together, even though she kept telling me she was single and wants to pursue things with me. We have an amazing connection, but she does not respect how I feel nor does she try to improve the situation. So, basically not taking the steps to break free from her ex. I have voiced my feelings repeatedly to her and nothing changes. But she can turn around and ask me for some money or do something for her! I don’t know why I keep meeting messed up, ain’t nothing females. What should I do?! – Anonymous, 32
Whew, child. I’m going to start with one of my favorite quotes, “surround yourself with people that reflect who you want to be and how you want to feel, energies are contagious”. You keep sticking around, honey, there won’t be enough tea in the world to help you. You literally answered your own question. If you’re mad at her for playing you like this, then pull a Beyoncé and say “to the left, to the left”, “boy bye” and get yourself in formation. Is she the only womxn in your area to date? Nope. Are there much better people out there who will appreciate you for who you are? Yup. You’re grown, you ain’t got time for this. Find someone who is worth your time and give you that reflection, because the only reflection I am finding is the one from this sip of tea I am taking.
