OK we’re finally giving in fully to Christmas mania and have really embraced the Christmas season – novelty jumpers and all.
So get yourself a Dattch date, head out into the city and discover your own Christmas spirit. Gawd bless us, everyone. We’re not gonna lie, we’ve been watching the Muppet Christmas Carol on repeat; don’t judge us. We’ve come up with a bunch of different seasonal things that’d be the perfect Wintery date for you and some lucky lass.
This week: be a couple of jingle belles and get your Crimbo on.

Breast Cancer Care
Carols By Candlelight- Admit it, you’re dying to sing at the top of your lungs in public but maybe Christmas carols are better sung by professionals, eh? So why not head down to St. Paul’s Cathedral on Tuesday 17th to hear the amazing, world-renown Cathedral choir sing with special guest speakers and performers. Mince pies and mulled wine will also be available. Organised by the Breast Cancer Care charity.

Lonely Planet
Christmas River Cruise – Walking tours are well and good but the best way to appreciate London’s magnificent views are by boat. Take a guided tour of London’s famous architecture and changing landscape by hopping on a boat for a sunset tour along the Thames.  Sit back and enjoy a mulled wine and watch the glittering Christmas lights of the capital sail by as you snuggle up with your girl. Book now to avoid disappointment for Saturday 14th’s cruise.

London Zoo –  Going to Lapland can be be expensive these days why not go see Santa’s reindeer at the London Zoo. These gorgeous guys will be there over the winter so you can fulfil your childhood Christmas wishes with the reindeer and then bugger off and go and see the penguins! People love reindeer but EVERYBODY loves penguins.

The Nutcracker – It’s one of those things that everybody should have seen performed at least once but, let’s be honest, no one ever does – The Nutcracker is on at the gorgeous Royal Opera House this Winter. There are just a few tickets left so go see Tchaikovsky’s classic piece performed so book now and check it off of your cultural bucket list. Plus you and your lady can get all dolled up for the evening.

Frozen – Head to the cinema to see Disney’s latest Wintery spectacular, Frozen.  Everyone loves a Christmas movie so make sure you don’t miss the story of Anna and Elsa – sisters whose difficult relationship leave their kingdom trapped in an icy curse.  Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell voice the two leads so how can you say no? Who doesn’t love a bit of Disney at Christmas?
