How you can help #orlandounited

After yesterday’s horrific events in Orlando, we know everyone in the community is looking for a way to support each other. For each person this may mean something different so we have collected listings of different ways you can help. Please add to this if you know of other channels and we will keep updating the post as we hear more.

Blood

There is an urgent need for blood in the area. Though the centers were overwhelmed with donations yesterday, there is a constant need for blood which will continue in the coming days.
Please visit One Blood for where to donate and you can read the US Federal Regulations around who can donate blood here.

Counseling

The GLBT Center in Orlando are seeking counselors to come forward and volunteer time.
You can contact their support lines (407) 822-5036 (Press 1), and (407) 228-1446 for English and Spanish respectively.
