Types of lesbians
  • Table of Contents

  • The world of lesbians has its own special ecosystem in which many different types of dykes exist. There are butches, or more masculine-leaning lesbians. There are femmes, or more feminine-leaning lesbians. And then within those categories, we have other gradients, like soft butch, a “softer” or more feminine butch, a “futch a femme and butch person, and a high-femme, or an uber-femme person, aka a lipstick lesbian

Types of lesbians include butches, studs, futches, femmes, high femmes, chapstick lesbians, lipstick lesbians, baby dykes, astrology lesbians, non-binary dykes, YouTube lesbians, and lesbians who really want a girlfriend.

Basically, when it comes to dykes, like Ani DiFranco, there are 32 flavors and then some. (Was that reference gay enough for you???) Not only are there different categories of lesbian aesthetic, there are different types of sexual preferences among lesbians. There are tops, meaning they’re the dominanate one during sex, and bottoms, meaning they’re the more submissive one. Or verses, meaning they like to switch it up.  And then there are literally dommes and subs—which should be self-explanatory.

    What are different lesbian lifestyles?

In addition to style choices and sexual skills, there are different types of lesbians in terms of lifestyle. There are baby dykes, who are still learning about dyke culture, including the types of lesbians. There are cottagecore lesbians, who love mason jars and the woods, astrology dykes, who want to know your birth time, sporty dykes, Wildfang lesbians, lesbian YouTubers, Twitter lesbians, chapstick lesbians, celesbians, and dykons. There are also non-binary dykes, pansexual dykes, married dykes, tall dykes, short dykes, old dykes, young dykes, sad dykes, fun dykes!

No matter what kind of lesbian you are, know that you are, as the kids say, “valid”! And really hot, too. 😉
